Curriculum
At Little People's, we provide an environment conducive to not only successful early development, but also proper preparation for your child's early educational career to set them in a position to maximize their fullest potential. Our Day Care Center organizes itself into various classroom-like settings and offers an 8 month ( Sept. - June ) early educational program prior to and following our additional summer program, as listed below. During the "school year", tri-monthly progress reports and assessments will be delivered for each child, as well as a yearly evaluation to best assess continued individual support. Our early educational curriculum sets and maintains goals to :
become proficient in listening and following directions
be aware of and to practice the habits of good mental health and physical fitness
appreciate the true value found in music, art, and nature
become aware of responsibilities as well as rights of every day living
form friendships while interacting with peers
Summer Program
During the months of summer vacation (Jun-Aug), Little People’s offers a summer care program. Opened to the same age ranges and organized similarly by room, the summer program offers a wide variety of activities and services for your children. Including daily crafts, indoor and outdoor play, swimming lessons / pool access, and more, our program provides a memorable summer full of friends, sunshine, and fun!
